About CEU

Picture
Consumer Electronics University (CEU) was established in 2005 to address the challenges our retail and manufacturing partners face in defending their human resource advantage despite increasing budget and time constraints. Our experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating effective classroom, video, e-learning, and in-store training programs provides the consumer electronics industry and other retail specialists with innovative solutions customized to our partner’s individual needs and budgets.

What we do:
Our focus at CEU is results. CEU utilizes participant-centered accelerated learning methods based on adult developmental research carried out by more than 80 universities. Accelerated learning principles are used by over 800 major organizations because of their ability to improve results while reducing training time and cost.

Corporations that have replaced traditional training with accelerated learning typically find training time reduced by 20-30% and retention increased by up to 4 times. Accelerated learning is based on the principle that adult‘s learn through creation and challenging interaction not passive absorption.

Accelerated learning is particularly suited to the specialty retail environment where formal training time is limited and objectives are clear and measurable. We believe that Consumer Electronics University is uniquely qualified to partner with specialty retailers and premium electronics manufacturers in executing training based on principles proven effective in our industry.
